This website is operated by Sunset Montessori School, Aburaso-Nzema, Kumasi, Ghana. By browsing it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site.

Acceptable use

You may read, print and share pages from this site for personal, non-commercial purposes such as researching a school for your child. You agree not to:

Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage or disable it.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Portal, any server, or any account that is not yours.
Submit false information through our forms, or use them to send unsolicited or abusive messages.
Copy substantial parts of the site to republish elsewhere without our written permission.
Collect images of, or information about, our pupils and staff for any purpose we have not agreed to.

Content and Intellectual Property

Unless stated otherwise, the text, photographs, page designs, the school emblem and the name Sunset Montessori School are the property of the School and are protected by the Copyright Act, 2005 (Act 690) of Ghana and by international copyright law.

Quote short extracts, provided the School is credited.
Print pages for your own reference.

What you may not do

Reproduce our emblem, name or branding in a way that suggests we endorse you.
Republish photographs of our pupils anywhere, for any purpose. These images are published under consent given to the School alone and that consent does not extend to third parties.
Use our content commercially without written permission.

If you believe any material on this site infringes your rights, please contact the Administration Office and we will investigate promptly.

Portal Accounts

The Student & Staff Portal is restricted to currently enrolled students, their parents or guardians, and employees of the School.

Accounts are issued by the Administration Office. You may not create, transfer or sell an account.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done under your login.
Tell the Administration Office immediately if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
We may suspend or withdraw access where these terms or the School's policies are breached, or where a student leaves the School.

The School will never ask for your portal password by phone, email or WhatsApp. Treat any message that does so as fraudulent and report it to us.

Links to Other Websites

This site links to and embeds material from third parties, including an embedded Google Map on our Contact page and the form service that delivers your messages to us.

Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control. A link from this site is not an endorsement of the linked organisation, its content or its practices. We are not responsible for any loss arising from your use of a third-party site.

Accuracy of Information

We work to keep this website accurate and current, but information here is published for general guidance only.

Term dates, fees, uniform requirements, staffing and programme details can change. The version held by the Administration Office is always the authoritative one.
Nothing on this website forms a contract, an offer of a place, or an offer of employment. Places are offered only by a formal Admission Letter, and roles only by a signed contract of employment.
Where this website and the Parent–Student Handbook differ, the Handbook takes precedence.

Availability

We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or free from errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice, including during maintenance.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law, the School is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on information published here.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revision date at the top of the first section shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and any dispute arising from them falls to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
